Don't know how reliable that site is but it wouldn't be a big surprise. But what I think is funny is that everytime there is news about LFC, the last page to announce it is the official...

If I'm not mistaken you could buy tickets to the pre season game against Vålerenga before they had announced that we were playing them on the offal. Are they just lazy or what's the deal?

Perhaps because the club only announces transfers when they are actually completed rather than "alleged" to have been completed?

not really Will, they are just very slow. Hamann had signed for City before we even confirmed he had gone to Bolton.

Amazing that that even needs to be said really.

Will miss Crouchie, he's a good footballer and a good guy.

Sorry to see him go, but it was pretty inevitable in a situation where Crouch wants to play every week but he and Torres are both strikers who have to spearhead the attack to be most effective.

Good luck to him at Portsmouth, I'm sure he'll do very well there. He certainly proved me wrong - I didn't want Crouch at all when we signed him, but he proved himself to be a really good player worthy of respect during his time at the club.

-Crouch a good footballer? Must be the dumbest ever written. He is and will forever be a totally useless footballer. He has cost us two years of developing and my god I am glad he is off. From january first 2009 he will be behind Defoe, Kanu and a new striker in Pompey and next summer he will be transferred further on. And before we know it he will be warming benches in CCC. I must say I am really looking forward to it.

Strange how he managed to score and set up all those goals when he's a useless footballer.

Crouch was a very good player for us.

If he'd buckled down and worked hard without moaning then he may have been still a Liverpool FC Player after this transfer window.

I'm happy to thank him for all his good work at the club - and to wish him the very, very best for the future.

I hope he does really well at his new club.

I dont actually remember him moaning. Fair enough he said he would like to play more but thats what you would want to hear. And he would still be a Liverpool player next year if Rafa had his way. He did want him to sign a new contract. Crouch wanted to go so he could play which is fair enough. I have no complaints about his time with us.
