DJS Posted July 3, 2008 Author Posted July 3, 2008 The brilliance of it lies in the audacity to come back for a second lap.
Guest Linton Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Have to give som cred to Schweinsteiger, he keeps him self very controlled all things considered.
DJS Posted July 3, 2008 Author Posted July 3, 2008 Have to give som cred to Schweinsteiger, he keeps him self very controlled all things considered. Sheer shock at the nerve of the Spanish, methinks
Koller49 Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 What a bunch of w*****s! If I was Schweinsteiger I woulda tried to t*** the lot of them. Fair enough you've won the European Championships but keep it in your own dressing room! If a team did that to one of our boys after we'd lost a Cup final I'd be f***ing seething. The only time something like that is acceptable is for Gary Neville
Duncan Disorderly Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 What a bunch of w*****s! If I was Schweinsteiger I woulda tried to t*** the lot of them.Aye, like his own team for thinking they were actually good enough to merit their place in the final.
Koller49 Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Aye, like his own team for thinking they were actually good enough to merit their place in the final. haha probably so. Although for me Germany merited a place in the final simply for knocking f***ing 'best side in the world' Portugal out. Still, there's nothing worse than 'Bad Winners' no matter how momentus the achievement.
D.Boon Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 I can't view it, what did they do? Fabregas did a s*** then Puyol rubbed it in Schweinsteigers hair live on TV
Hassony Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 I can't view it, what did they do? Schweinsteiger was giving an interview to german TV when the spanish players came and through a bucket of cold water over him and started laughing at him as he burst into tears
Chili Palmer Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 Schweinsteiger was giving an interview to german TV when the spanish players came and through a bucket of cold water over him and started laughing at him as he burst into tears really? the spirit of football huh?
Cobs Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 Fabregas did a s*** then Puyol rubbed it in Schweinsteigers hair live on TV Alonso would have done a better one
Boca Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 Fabregas did a s*** then Puyol rubbed it in Schweinsteigers hair live on TV ...but Schweinsteiger didn't mind because Cesc's s*** don't stink according to all the fawning pundits.
budgie Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 The brilliance of it lies in the audacity to come back for a second lap. That was what I thought as well. Great to see that they celebrate like fans. I hope they go on and win a few more comps. Great football, great team spirit by the look of it.
deacon Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 If that had been the Man U players after they won the Champions League final we wouldn't be saying this. What they did was hugely disrespectful to Schweinstieger and the German players and shows a complete lack of class. I'd be ashamed of the Liverpool players if they did something like that.

robfar1 Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 Let's be honest if we didn't have a Spanish manager and a load of their players we'd be going on about how little class this shows. Personally think it's a disgrace and they have should have more respect for the opposition. If Portugal had gone on to win it and they'd done the conga while they interview some of the losing team with Ronaldo at the front everyone on here would be going mental about it.

Even Schweinsteiger had a brief grin on his face. I think it's fecking hilarious.
