magneto
A proper manager should get that team into any European Championship or World Cup Semi Final. I can't believe the FA appointed SCS.

Gooner Spy
Have you watched him play of late? Come to think of it have you watched Crouch play of late? Where are Lennon and SWP? Lennon has had a poor poor season, SWP has been MIA since January. Why would they be in? 3 Good options for the RHS - Bentley deserves another crack, Walcott is there on tangible merit for the first time, and Beckham is......well, Beckham. Carrick has been in out of the squad under Mcclaren and now Capello, I am not saying whether he is good enough or not, I am saying that its not like he has been in the last 30 squads and is suddenly omitted

I was emphasising how s**** a manager SCS was in getting rid of Beckham for Lennon and SWP. Neither was good enough or strong enough to play whole matches. Beckham should have been kept in the squad to help bring these two on, maybe playing the 1st half the Lennon coming on and using his pace against a tired defence. Not sure Beckham should be in the team now though.I also agree about Walcott

Gomez
Lennon has had a poor poor season, SWP has been MIA since January. Why would they be in?Because it the rules, England squads are picked on big names, not ability or form. Capello obviously didn't get the memo. Jagielka? Though to be fair, there is still a lot of s**** in that squad.

fred milne
you do have to wonder why huddlestone can get a call-up when carrick can't.He is a key player in a side that has won back to back league titles, made the semi-final of the champions league last year and the final this year. Its bizarre.
yellow jumper
it's certainly a departure from what sven was doing in continually picking players with champions league experience regardless of whether they were playing week-in week-out. crouch and walcott apart, but then striking options are limited. in a sense it'd probably be a good thing for the english game if their players thought twice before just accepting the first top 4 offer that comes along.
