even before the sending off, Inter looked happy to settle for a draw and offerred very little to the game.

 

would that have changed as the game went on? who cares.

 

i was pleased to see us keep going at them, despite the missed chances and we played for the full 94 minutes like our lives depended on it.

 

guys on ESPN2 kept on about Inter beating us in '65 after we won by 2 at Anfield. hopefully, there will be no dodgy refereeing moments in 3 weeks to assist the Italians.

Never seen anything in Zlatan, Mike, bar a clever touch. Doesn't work hard enough and doesn't seem to perform on the bigger stage. I might be wrong but I never though much, despite his reputation.
