Liverpool look set to make a tasty profit on their 19-year-old keeper Nikolay Mihaylov, who was bought for £225,000 from Levski Sofia in July but could now join FC Twente, where he is currently on loan, for £4m.

I assume as it's a kid: no transfer window???

think it's summer they are talking about. I read elsewhere his euro passport will be sorted by then so he's looking forward to coming back to us, not expecting Twente to pay the large fee we've asked for him.

Or not

"Liverpool have asked for such a high price, because they wanted to discourage Twente from buying me,” he said.

"I expect to join Liverpool in July, because my visa problems will be settled by then."

Keep him, he's meant to be pretty good.

$7.5m profit for G&H, way to go Rarfa!

'It’s a great economic model. People are worried that I might take money away from the Rangers to go to Liverpool. It’s just the reverse. Liverpool is going to pull off lots of extra money that if I choose I can use for the Rangers or Stars.'

If we don't want to sell him, we just say "No, he's not for sale". Think putting a price tag on his head sends a different message.

WHAT?

Our net spend will be around 20 million which isn't good at all

We should give him them and 4 million, then our net spend would be 28

They've spent £70m.

Don't you read Huyton_Yellow's posts?

Not really, everyone has a price.

Of course, and I'm sure had this been met, he'd be leaving.

Though we clearly should have quoted Twente "£20m". Just for a laugh.

Funds going straight in Hicks's pockets, so I don't know why the hell you're all so happy.
