Cunny Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 1.Torres (for one moment of brilliance)and that's it
bobbyboulders Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Torres - Was rubbish, but his goal was both brilliant and crucial. Mascherano - Neat, composed and committed in the first half, played better than anyone else. MIA in the second meaning Torres pips him.Gerrard - A little less s**** than the rest. Always a goal threat, which is nice in a team full of blunt knives.
stonty Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 1.Torres (for one moment of brilliance)and that's it OK fair enough, but Gerrard did his best FFS, he was everywhere trying to do what the other c*nts should have been doing in their positions, ok it didn't come off how we'd liked but at least he looked like he gave a toss First half when he was under pressure tiding up left side of his own penalty area and played beautiful ball down the wing with the outside of his right foot to one of the turds to feck up possession, if it had been fat frank it'd be on the intro to MOTD every week. He was given dozens of hospital balls but tried to get Babel in the game as much as possible, when Torres scored he was on the six yard line as the ball came back off the net. All this get the knife into our captain on the forums is beyond a fricken joke, he has to win the F A & European Cup every week to get a "he did ok" from most people (including Rafa), we only have 3 or 4 world class players, he is one of them and he's homegrown to boot, we're lucky to have him or we'd really be in sh*t street right now
Hieronymus Bosch Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Gerrard did his bestDisagree. On the whole he looked good when is possession of the ball, but I don't think he seemed interested for large parts of the game. A shame, because a fully focused Gerrard can be devastating. Also didn't like the way he sat in front of the defence and started moves as the deepest midfielder. No idea whose idea that was.
Walrus Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 1.Torres 2.Gerrard 3.Hyypia They were all poor, mind.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 Torres BabelMasch Reina is worth a shout for that one save
