Heard some really good things about this kid, could be the best player of his age in Europe!

ok lets just say hes in the very top bracket of players his age.

Think hes played a year or two above his age bracket for Finland and still stands out, really looking to see how he does, im sure i read Rafa told him he'll be training at Melwood next season.

I'm LOVIN' that picture - Keegan was (and still is I guess) my biggest LFC hero!!

Anyone know what his involement is? Strange it's not public....

You hear the odd rumour about Keegan or Kenny or Digger or Jocky etc etc doing a bit with the kids now and again, but it never seems to get beyond rumour...maybe there's something in it after all?

Big lad though, isn't he? (Not KK!)

He must be involved somehow..

That pic could be from November (?) when LDV was visiting Liverpool and signing for LFC. It was then reported in the Finnish papers that former Liverpool legend Kevin Keegan had been in charge of the training session. I asked about it then on this board but no-one took notice. I thought the papers had got Ian Rush and Kevin Keegan mixed up. Apparently it wasn't so.

Well done Lauri!

Yes it's racist but she may not be a racist. More importantly, it is incredibly insensitive.

She'll lose her job for it.

wathcing the finnish team is like watching village of the damned, all those blonde haired children.

We have so many potentially good players in the U18 and reserve teams now, obviously its a policy by Rafa to bring in as much quality he can and then the chances of getting first team players is improved. However Rafa needs to give these players a chance or else its pointless, part of me thinks of course they'll get a chance thats why so many have been signed, but then i look at the players that Rafas tried so far and its only really Hobbs and El Zahr, and he obviously doesnt think Hobbs is ready yet.

I know its a huge step up from reserves to PL but sometimes these young players can surprise you, they play with no fear. It could save us millions in transfers if 3 or 4 of these kids makes the first team squad, and personally id much rather have a hungry 18/20 year old playing with no fear in the squad than some older player thats maybe not happy with the odd game here and there costing us a fortune in wages.

This is the most talented group of young players we've ever had, and we seem to be adding to it all the time, so within the group there's lots of competition too and that can only be good for them as players. What we've also seen with players like Guthrie is that even those not quite good enough for us can make a name elsewhere and bring in maybe 3-4 million you sell 2 or 3 like that and that goes a long way to paying for a real top class player.

Here is hoping Rafa will be here in 3-4 years time when we will actually start seeing these players coming through
