So what is your attitude to Man City?

While ManUtd are our main rivals with volumes written on the subject, I wonder what you feel towards Man City. Do you hate them as well (after all, they come from the same godforsaken hole)? Or do you sympathize with them, as my foe's foe is my ally?

And what have the relations between supporters been historically?

don't mind Manchester City.

There are some teams I just don't like, the obvious ones like Manc U, Everton, also Arsenal, Spurs. There are other teams I just couldn't give a s**** about and am totally indifferent to - Wigan, Bolton, Brum City, Fulham, West Ham etc etc. Man City are probably one of the very very few that I actually don't mind! I'm glad they are doing well, cos their fans are long suffering, but not intolerable and oddly arrogant like Newcastle fans.

I have a soft spot for City ever since I was a student in Mancland, Maine Road was fairly close and we used to pop down for the odd game. They were absolute s**** at the time but the fans had a good sense of humour and regularly cheered the oppo.

 

Mind you it was a bit dicey being the only one in the Kippax to cheer each of Liverpools 4 goals one year
