Good trip. Great to be able to relax after 11 mins.

 

Verrry cold up there in the Velodrome, four layers of clothing did the trick.

 

Avoided getting locked in the unisex toilets this time, but was crouched inside a portable loo when my "friends" decided to rock it from side to side. Ho ho I thought

 

Had my deadly weapon confiscated. Far more dangerous than flares or fireworks. Would have created my own riot if it had rained later on.

 

Raj's nose looks better. Will still has no dress sense. Affligem Noel is good but induced strangely paralysing headaches.

 

I liked Marseille much better this time. Their fans seemed to like us better than last time ( when they won) They were never really up for it and some guy on the megaphone sang on his own for extended periods in the second half. Their bizarre mosh pit up the top at either end was peculiar. I thought we might get blamed for it. All charging about clearing a space to run up and down the steps throwing themselves at each other.

 

Fireworks were pretty as they drifted ( blown by a hurricane) over our heads.
