christ almighty, Vidic went down like a folding chair and Ronaldo managed to land in the top corner of the box like he was a 1st class stamp...

Its the way you tell em!

I bet you can bend it like Beckham the way you distort the truth.

:D

you mean he landed the ball in the top corner from ~30 yards?

Excellent to have you about.

Did United win tonight? I have a sneaking fancy they did.

Only just. Poor again for most of tonight.

Did anyone see Ibrahimovic's goal? Amazing. 5 goals in 5 games. Probably the best striker in the world at the moment.

But I doubt that he'll ever get any recognition whatsoever in england..

why? is it because he is a c***?, or is it because he has never played well against an english team? or it because he is inconsistant?

Or because he's only Swedish? He would most likely get more recognition if he was from one of the bigger footballing countries.

George Weah, Drogba, Shevshenko were all recognised as great strikers and they are not exactly from a bigger footballing nation than sweden

True. But their primary (and almost only) job is scoring goals. Ibra is a second striker. He plays best with a Crespo, a Trezeguet or an Allback (yet another example of a not so good player who excels with his national team) with him.

So yes, perhaps Ibra isn't the best striker like mersey said. But he's one of the best forwards/"2nd strikers" in the world today.

like henrik larsson didn't?

Could that have anything to do with him playing in Scotland?

Was he as recognised in Italy and Germany as he was in the UK and Spain?

It was obviously a cracking free kick by Placcy, but where the f*** was the foul that led to it? From what I saw, the whistle went and the players seemed confused who's free it was cos f*** all had happened.

Put me in a bad mood for the rest of Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares, that.

Ibra is s****, I don't think anyone cares about Sweden enough to let it cloud their opinion.

Maybe they don't care about Sweden, but they still have a "clouded opinion". Zlatan has developed into one of the best forwards in the World and a great team player. He has got a bit of a fiesty temper, but so what? That's a good thing.

Exactly my point. if he was from England he'd be considered world class. Same if he'd be from Spain, Italy, France or one of the big South American countries.

But because it's "just Sweden he's s***".

yes. michael laudrup for example was just from denmark and he was never rated either was he?

it's got nothing to do with where zlatan is from. he could have kept his bosnian heritage, he'd still be a c*nt.
