But I like Momo a lot. He gives 150% whenever he is out there, he's fearless and he's awesome defensively. But, he will have such a ough time playing with Stevie, Xabi, Mascher and now Lucas in the picture.

 

He'd probably pull a good transfer fee, but Carra made the transition brilliantly (albeit via LB and then RB). Maybe Momo could do the same.

I dunno whether it's since the kick in the head did his eyes, or that's how I remember it....maybe it's because he's young & he can get over it. Maybe my perceptions have changed. But he's nowhere close to the player he was that first season

Even before then he never demonstrated the positional awareness of a CB. He likes to run around a lot all over the place......can you imagine the big hole he would leave in the defence.

On the eye thing, he apparently does stil have reduced vision though whether that is the cuase of his slump is difficult to say.

 

As for moving him to CB, just don't see that myself (no pun intended). His best work has always been done further up the pitch, as a pressing midfielder rather than a holding one - it is a completely different role. Given his wayward distribution, I'd keep him sa far away from our goal as possible.
