Could work out well for the balance of the team.

Gerrard on th eright with Alonso and Mascherano(or Sissoko) IN THE MIDDLE.

i wonder if all of those that were on his the other night are going to forgive his display given he was playing with a broken leg

fickle c****

Why have we been playing Pennant in so many matches with a fracture ? Its not like he's been ripping the place up and making himself undroppable. I thought the whole point of the squad was to minimise the risk of surgery and keep players fit for the long term.

Very odd that he's been 'injured for eight weeks' yet been playing... badly too. Not like we haven't got enough options for there is it with Gerrard, Benayoun and Babel

We need a goal threat and there's no one on his crosses if they come in. Yossi/Steve on the right, Leiva might get more games.

we'll be fine

You're celebrating the injury of one of our players.

Just thought I'd point that out.

And then call you a prick.

I`m not celebrating, it would not be worth wasting such a good wine just because Pennant got injured, but I certainly dont think its a bad thing, I`m pretty happy about it to be honest since I think him playing means a better option sits on the bench and at times its like playing with just 10 players with him on the pitch.

Stressederic was right. Prick.

I worded the last bit wrong, what I meant to say is that it often would be better to just play with 10 players.

I'm not convinced that Gerrard will revert to that position, is everyone else ?

Off course he will, and now he wont be able to moan about it either since Pennant is out, all in all great in most aspects.

Sticking Gerrard on the right won't solve our problem of lack of intelligent creativity. It'll just mean at least 3 solid but unspectacular midfielders will line up across the middle.

2 from Babel, Benayoun or Kewell must play most games over this 10-week period.

:hmm: Shocking.

Oh well, when you put it like that

I'm not as fan of his, but that's a disgrace.

Typical 'nu fan' mentality.

Benayoun/Babel for the right it is then, with Gerrard playing the odd game there.

Nu fan ffs, I would really like your definition, I could probably be your father.

I want the team to get the best results possible, with Pennant not availible we have a better chance of reaching this goal.

He is an attacking player that has scored 1 goal in 63 competitive matches and had about 15 shots on goal in the same amount of matches, his only ability is to get the ball run 20 yards with it and then cross it wether there is someone in the box or not, he is a complete waste of space and one of the worst players we have had in ages with so much plating time.

Probably a factor in his underpar performances since the Derby game.

This is a blow, really useful player, one of our best second half of last season. Although the imminent return of Kewell should ease the problem I was looking forward to seeing the both of them in action together.

I certainly hope not.
