Missed a sitter from the edge of the box because he can only hit a stationary ball. Passing poor & often behind our player when it was actually near our player.

Riise wasnt too bad today - except for that criminal miss at the edge of the box. On the other hand, I was actually surprised he managed to keep his free kick low and ON TARGET for once.

Thought he did OK, drove us forward quite well when he had space to run into. Most of their threat was down the right and that wasn't finnan's fault it was because nobody in front of him was stopping Lescott

He's done okay at LM, but there's nothing to suggest he's anywhere near the standard we need at LB.

JAR did alright today, he was one of our better players, he should have scored, but still he got into that position from his left back spot, someof our midfielders struggle to get so high in the pitch and support our strikers.

 

He tried to place it, he should just have blasted it or actually tried with his right foot, but I guess that is too much to ask for.

He did, but he didn't get much help from whoever was supposed to be playing on the right today.

Wasn't his worse performance by any means but he still was still pretty poor. Don't know how many times he played simple balls behind his man and when, when, when is he going to look up before he crosses the bloody ball. Really pissing me off now that is.

I'm concerned at the ease with which he left Stubbs get in that cross prior to Sami's own goal. Also his miss was criminal.

 

Apart from those two instances, he was perfectly competent.
