He did all right. Probably at fault for that goal but also made a few saves and cleared his lines too.

 

Didn't help playing behind a central defence pairing that looked shaky from the start. Chicken and the egg there, though, maybe.

He didn't start well with that weird punch, but overall he seemed okay. It seemed a bit strange, given all the talk about continuity between the ressies and the first team, that he was so slow in releasing the ball. Pepe has spoilt us with his Clemence-like throws, but this was quite a different style. It's obviously never easy though when you come in for the odd match like that.

Seemed fine. The 2nd goal he was taken out by one of our lads before he even got near the ball. Completely unsighted for the 1st as well.

Didn't see anything wrong with the punch. Pepe normally uses just one fist, Itandje uses two. Got plenty of distance on it and wasn't cleared central to the goal.
