just had a look at is and i think disappointing is the right word. he doesn't need to do it.

I'm sure he is being paid FFS. Wouldn't suprise me at all if he gives the money away though. Thats what he did with the Echo's money.

im fairly certain he wasn't paid for the interview.

i also am not in the slightest concerned as far as im concerned it isn't the sun in the same way that sky isn't.

As has been said - not part of the boycott, and the lad is quietly reknowned for giving the fee for such stuff away anyway.

Fair point I suppose. If he's just saying that it was a crap article then ok, I apologise. I've jumped because there is so much of this NOTW at the moment with Bascombe. If it was just a comment on the article then that should have been said as it's an emotive subject at the moment and only saying "dissapointing" was going to strike a chord with a few people. I don't read the paper so I don't know what the article is like

Just about the reaction on the other forums. Some stuff been written about our Liverpool based players is sick.

 

Once again there is no boycott on the NOTW and there never has been. The argument that reds should of taken it for granted doesn't wash with me. I've never bought the paper and never will but thats because its a rag.

i agree, don't think the ban should include anything else either, sky, the times. just dilutes what has been an amazingly effective boycott.

 

at the same time it is a surprise that carra did this, same as it would be surprising to see a red reading said rag.

 

i think the NOTW is widely avoided rather than boycotted and that situation is fine by me.
