I'm glad. non-sensical though it sounds, I was worried that given the thrashing Derby received, somehow Fagan would get away with it out of some general sense pitty for Derby.

Could really have injured Arbeloa, and the way he made out like it was an accident made it even more sick.

really he should have been sent off, but then we wouldn't have seen the look on his face as he air-kicked that shot 6 yards in front of goal.

Small-time no mark.

In response to the suggestion above - I definitely hope he isn't banned for the return leg. He's a sh** footballer, hope he plays.

I don't think it showed clearly on the tv, but he also appeared to stick his elbow in his face immediately after too. At least it appeared that way from my view at the Anny Road end, someone closer in the centenary might have had a better view of that though.

Either way, the stamp alone was bad enough.

and yes, he was also utter schite

Seemed to catch him in the face with something - couldn't tell what though. Good ban well earned, the cling-film faced prick.

Seems he got an extra game for trying to deny it.

Derby County's Craig Fagan has been hit with a four-match suspension by the Football Association for stamping on Liverpool's Alvaro Arbeloa on Saturday.

Striker Fagan, 24, was found guilty of misconduct by an FA regulatory commission, after denying the charge.

"The commission imposed the automatic three-match ban, plus an additional match as they considered the denial to be frivolous," said an FA statement.

Delighted he got the extra game for being a prick by denying the obvious

I think that will have been down to Billy Davies - and he really is a prick of the highest order. Serious chip on his shoulder that fella.

what did he say on motd.....we were comfortable, never under threat for 20 minutes, then they get that freekick which i wasnt at all happy about....and then we kept making mistakes to let them in.

you got battered you freak
