LOCAL lad Jack Hobbs is part of the Liverpool squad visiting London Road for Mark Tyler's testimonial on Saturday.

Central defender Hobbs (18) is from Moulton Harrox and moved to Anfield on a free transfer from Lincoln City last year. Liverpool will be managed on the day by reserve team boss Gary Ablett.

 

The Liverpool first team are flying out to Hong Kong at the weekend, but a handful of the club's FA Youth Cup-winning sides of the last two seasons are involved.

More than 7,000 tickets have been sold for the match which celebrates goalkeeper Tyler's 13 years at Posh. More than 1,000 visiting supporters are expected.

 

Fans can now pay on the day at selected turnstiles namely, South Stand (lower), Main Stand A, B left, B right, D, and on the terraces at the Moys End and London Road End.

 

Admission prices are £20 for adults to sit, £15 for adults to stand and £10 for concessions in all areas (concessions are under 16s, students with a valid NUS card, registered disabled and OAP's).

Det vil være flere kjente navn som blir med Liverpool XI til Halden og Karlstad. Daniel Ayala enda en utenlandsk unggutt på plass(?)

Liverpool XI skal spille i Halden tirsdag 21.august og i Karlstad 23.august.

 

Mikael Linder fra arrangøren sier til liverpool.no at 25 spillere er påmeldt, hvorav de 16 første på listen under var involvert i pre-season kampene mot Wrexham, Crewe og Werder Bremen. Alle disse kampene endte som kjent med seier.

 

Linder tror at man ender opp med 18-19 spillere, som vil bli ledet av Gary Ablett.

 

En vil også se at andre nye unggutter som Mikel San José Ryan Crowther og Daniel Pacheco kan være aktuelle. I tillegg står Daniel Ayala oppført, en spiller som tilsynelatende ubemerket har skrevet under for Liverpool FC.
