Rafa's resigned and has agreed to take the Madrid job but its all being kept quiet until next week because:

 

a) Madrid don't want any distractions before their last league game

b) We want time to finalise a deal for Juande Ramos and Sevilla are in the same position as Madrid

 

Oh and seeing as City will lose out on Ramos they're going to go for Moyes instead - allowing Souness to take over at Woodison.
