Sack Parry n sign Dein.

What do you think?

Would Dein be as successful an operator in a club which he did not have a natural "love" for?

I wouldn't like to see a video of him engaging in un-natural love.

Boyhood reds only for Chief Executive

Was better in the day when the first thing you knew of a new Chief Executive was when he was pictured in the Echo with a Liverzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......

Yes. For one thing he would probably like the idea to show Arsenal that they made a mistake when they got rid.

He must have some qualities considering all the praise he gets from Henry and Wenger and their apparent dislike of him being fired.

Why on earth would anyone want Parry sacked? :o:unsure:

So we can start posting 'Sack Dein' the moment there's a crap rumour in the media we've missed out on a player.

It's an interesting question which hasn't been posed or discussed yet. But the answers are hard to find, because what do we know of the work R. Parry and D. Dein has put down?

It will all be speculations for us immortals.

How can we assess their work, if we don't know what they are measured at?

Yet, let me be the first one to speculate.

R. Parry:

Transfers

There are some transfers he or someone has delaying which has caused the other part to go for another solution. Examples would be:

Vidic - who we seemed to have nailed, but in the end it took too long time and Man U came in and stole him (I rate Agger higher but that is not the topic here)

C. Ronaldo - we had a deal but it wasn't finalized (quick enough), Manu came in again and raised our bid and stole him.

New owners

I find it hard to believe that our dearly beloved club used more than 3 years (or what the timeframe was) to find new owners. We heard rumours about DIC, Sinawatra (spelling) etc

Someone is to blame. I put some of it on Parry.

Benitez rant'

I believe Mr Benitez is a demanding person to work with. He lives and breathes fotball. He sets a high standard for himself, which applies to those around him.

He had a rant which was directed at Parry after the final, and even though some of, not all of it, are probably true, I would rather concur with Mr Benitez than the party who support Parry.

Why do you find it hard to believe a stone cold hard fact?

Let me rephrase myself. I find it strange that it took so long to find new investors. For that I partly blame Parry.

It took so long to find the right investors, we had g*******s lined up around the corner. Parry's biggest mistake in the whole takeover thing was letting it be played out in the press

Was it not more down to David Moores - lets face it couldn't have been easy for him

Good thread.

I said to a mate a while back if Parry left the club tomorrow, what would his legacy to Liverpool be? To put it into context, I said that although Kenyon jumped ship to go to Chelsea, he left United in a more than healthy state; no debt, one of the best stadiums in Europe and a good squad. Dein, although not quite on the similar scale, has walked away from Arsenal leaving them with Wenger who he personally brought to the club, a fair few trophies and one of the best young squads around. Whilst Parry played a part in the recruitment of Benitez, he can't take the full credit as Rafa knew that one) we were looking for a manager and two) his agent had been in touch to see what the score was. Dein, by contrast, plucked Wenger from the obscurity of Japan.

However, the whole point is moot; Foster Gillette is taking over the day to day running of the club next season.

Don't understand why people would want Dein associated with our club.

He might have been a good administrator for arsenal, but his methods were dubious and bordering on corrupt. Just look at the way he freely allowed his interests with arsenal and the FA to conflict, no more so than in the decision to change the FA rules to try to prevent us from defending our CL trophy a couple of years back.

I think I understand why after 3 years as a member your total is only 56 posts.
