Its been pointed out to me (by a Manc) that the last time Sheff Utd got relegated from the Premiership, Utd clinched the double by beating Chelsea in the FA Cup final and Milan won the European Cup....

Actually the last game of the season for West Ham was against the mancs at Upton Park. They won 4-2 to do the double over them and avoided relegation on the last day. The mancs went on to win the FA cup. Liverpool won the EC.

 

West ham didn?t do the double over the mancs until this season?

(sorry I thought that West ham played their last game at OT to avoid the drop.)
