Really don't think it makes a difference, Souness signed him, not Roeder and he'd have left last summer if he'd have been fit. He keeps saying he owes newcastle after two years of sponging, but it always depended on who came in for him and if they were willing to match newcastle's price.

You're right he does need to add that to his game.
