Florist Cinema Pond Goal Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 Mixed emotions. I'm happy because the weasel must now realise his ego does not match his talent. I'm disappointed because whoever his successor is, Newcastle must surely now improve.

Spike Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 (edited) f***inell, if they get allardyce up there their entire transfer budget could go just between him and Shepherd scoffing their jowls. Edited May 6, 2007 by Spike Starski
DonRafa Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 Glad he's gone, the weasley- faced git. Boring as fec. I expect 'Big Sam' to get the nod - it'll be interesting to see how he gets on....but my god, if I had the capital, I'd be up there quick to open a new pie shop
oakie bob Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 well done for saying oakie bob called me to say roeder has resigned ...............discuss
dorgie Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 If Fat Sam comes in, I can't see Owen wanting to hang around there to fit in with his tactics......after all I don't think jumping at goalkeepers & centre halves while leading with the elbow is in Owen's locker
Gomez Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 If Fat Sam comes in, I can't see Owen wanting to hang around there to fit in with his tactics......after all I don't think jumping at goalkeepers & centre halves while leading with the elbow is in Owen's locker Really don't think it makes a difference, Souness signed him, not Roeder and he'd have left last summer if he'd have been fit. He keeps saying he owes newcastle after two years of sponging, but it always depended on who came in for him and if they were willing to match newcastle's price.
Paul Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 Shame he's gone, Newcastle were always good for a laugh whilst he was manager.
Cam Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 Seems like they called him in to tell him he'd be sacked in the summer and he said "feck y'all, I'm off now". Any announcements been made about his successor for Sunday? I could see Shearer doing it on a one-week caretaker basis. If Allardyce comes in now given the weird timing of this and the weird timing of his Bolton resignation I hope it gives Gartside the nod to sue both Fat Sam and Newcastle for £££millions.
stressederic Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 Apparently it hasn't even been announced officially by Newcastle yet.
R A Softlad Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 Titus Bramble, anybody? ........ You mean Titus Bramble = A Nobody?
fyds Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 You mean Titus Bramble = A Nobody?I've read his diary. Yerhay! I've lost me job!
JonShar Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 I would think McDermott would run it for the rest of the season, fat (ahem) chance of Sam getting it immediately. Am I the only one who reckons Arsenal will sign Owen this summer?
fyds Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 Probably, yes. I don't think he'll go anywhere for a year.

Perhaps Allardyce can teach him the skills before we buy him back.
