CarraLegend Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 They should never of appointed the guy in the first place. He's an absolute loser, has to be one of the worst managers in the history of football. Simply woeful. Allardyce next then, they might end up being organised for once.
charlie clown Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 agrre apart from the 'football' bit. they are utter gash aren't they. I don't know how anyone would be stupid enough to sign for Hall & Shepherd.
Chili Palmer Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 They'll be a force again under Allardyce. No they will not.
Hassony Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 he will go a legend, having won half of Newcastle's total trophies in their long history
Gilps Posted May 6, 2007 Author Posted May 6, 2007 No they will not. If he's had Bolton hanging around 6th-8th on their budget, he' shouldn't have too much trouble doing at least that with Newcastle and their budget.

CarraLegend Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 Cant see them ever breaking the top 4, I think they're running out of money and we're all just way to far ahead. They're average with a few good players.
Gilps Posted May 6, 2007 Author Posted May 6, 2007 If it was that easy, Chelsea would have won the league. They have in 2 of the last 3 years

They're average with a few good players. It'll take a while, but if he can get them up to top six then they'll get a chance. I'm not convinced the top 4 are as clear away as it always seems. It's only a couple of weeks ago Bolton were still pushing Arsenal close. Spurs were one result away from pipping them last year. The year before the blues**** finished 4th. Hassony Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 bolton have defenders.ben haim is out of contract so he will probably be on his way to join his old boss at the barcodes
Chili Palmer Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 They have in 2 of the last 3 years They didn't this year
McBain Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 Apparently the players did a lap of honour after yesterdays game. I would f***ing love to have seen that
Gilps Posted May 6, 2007 Author Posted May 6, 2007 They didn't this year No, the poverty stricken Mancs have. Whilst Chelsea have slumped to midtable.
Sion Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 (edited) Allardyce will be s*** with money to spend. His limit is 6th-8th, no more. Plus I wonder if the Newcastle fans would like their new long ball aggressive football and the fact he'd replace Owen with Davies, Parker with Nolan and Given with Jasskalinen Edited May 6, 2007 by Sion

Cant see it, yeah close thats all it ever really is, Everton finish 4th but the team below them just went and won the European Cup and are now back to regularly finishing above them as usual. Someone might have a fluke season where everything goes there way and they get 4th once but for a good few years I cant really see anything changing unless a team below gets an Abramovich, us, Chelsea and Utd can and will continue to outspend the rest and I expect Arsenal to spend more again soon so just cant see anyone breaking into it regularly. They'll be Uefa Cup fodder, if that I think.
