Can I just confirm this IS tomorrow night? A fellow forumite has just given me heart failure by asking if I was going tonight

I'm on nights, so straight to work afterwards.

Ant will be making an appearance beforehand though.

I'll be having a couple of scoops after Wigan on Saturday though.

Myself and dorgie are heading over for this one. I should be in town for around half five if anyone fancies a scoop. I think dorgie is getting in earlier so he'll probably be bladdered by then :)

Triple whiskey actually (paid for by Andy naturally) :)

My phone got nicked on holiday so I lost your mobile number. Give me a text if there's a change of plan.

I get in to Manchester airport around 1.15pm. As I have never gone via Manchester before, can anyone tell me if the train service from Manc Airport to Lime Street is regular and how long the journey takes ?

Cheers.

There is at least one direct an hour and will take about 1 hr 10 ish. If you miss the direct one, i think there are about 5 more an hr that go to Manchester Piccadilly and then from there 3-4 trains an hr to Liverpool. If you go via Piccadilly try and connect into one of the two faster ones which still take almost 50 mins anyway.

If changing at Piccadilly you'll need to get from whichever platform over to platforms 13/14 to connect.

I'm going to be there with the nipper and shome cloggies - I'll bring Jos and the nipper to the Oakie pre-game if I can remember where it is from where we park - he's never seen a scouse pub (oh dear)!

As will I

Rumours persist that Buzz will be making his annual appearance

Oi!! Third or fourth time this season!. ;) Wish it was like the old days before the mortgage and kids when I could go as often as possible.

i've always wanted to post in this thread, but having never been to Anfield before it would be futile. But tonight i can firmly say i will be making my debut as the missus got me tickets for my birthday :D:D:D . i really want to come to the Oakie as well to soak up the experience proper, any directions and any hints as to where to park would be great. Hopefully see you there.. i am so excited i might wee!!!!
