Quite honestly it's beyond me why they haven't all gone out on loan much earlier.

 

If Rafa wants our kids to play in the lower leagues don't come out with silly ideas for putting our reserves in there, just send them out on loan.

true; the problem with loans is you cannot guarantee the padwans get coached properly or even used in their best position

 

for example ( dont bite my head off) sending Le Tallec to Sunderland was never going to get the best out of Le Tallec and improve his confidence - he'd have been better off going to Wigan or some other team where they wanted to play FOOTBALL

Has Paletta gone on loan? If not I'm surprised he hasn't gone out on loan too as I'd have thought he might be the closest to the first team more than anyone and need that competitive match practice.

We could still need him either in the league or in the CL, if one of the CBs gets injured. Could see Rafa giving Paletta a run out in the league e.g. if Carra got injured and he needed Sami for the CL.
