Don't really look forward to this. I feel 4th is more or less secured, and since 3rd is not more special than 4th in the sense of Cl qualification, the league is not that interesting for me anymore. I'd rather have a full rested squad for the PSV games. Am I wry?

Are you wry?

Fourth is not secured. Arsenal are a point ahead with a game in hand and Bolton are six behind. We need to make sure we qualify again.

Bad feeling Paddy Berger is going to do something noteworthy this weekend.

PSV is a while away yet, 4th isnt secured and we should be going for 3rd. Cant see us losing to these anyway, they're s***, we never lose there and errrr they're s***.

We dont want to f*** about with 4th place, get it done then hopefully we can f*** about with the team before the Semi's, not yet though.

Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill believes the current Liverpool squad is good enough to win the title.

O'Neill's troops take on Liverpool this Sunday with The Reds well out of the championship race after a mixed season domestically.

The former Celtic boss expected Liverpool to mount a stronger title tilt this term, but he believes they are not far off from finally ending their Premiership duck.

"I think you look at the start of next season and, with the squad Liverpool have, and if they get their away form right immediately, they can win the title," said O'Neill.

"Manchester United and Chelsea are fine sides and have been consistently good but I don't think Liverpool are as far away from winning the Championship as some might mention.

"It is not going to happen this season but they have brought in a lot of players and it takes time for them to gel.

"They have strengthened their squad considerably and, having had a couple of years to look at Manchester United and Chelsea, they have realised what it takes.

"They didn't win away for a while this season, and that was a bit of frustration for them, but they got it right now and are a formidable team."

Stronger team than I expected

eh?

why would we try anything but a strong team? Away from home where we are still hit and miss, and after a 10 day break....

Where's Crouch?

getting over his broken face operation

You an insider?

Sissoko is suspended for the PSV game, so I figured Rafa will need Mascherano for that and will want to bed him into the side beforehand. This is the best game to do it and then bring Alonso back in for the Arsenal game.
