live Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 i forget what the deal wth barragan is, is he out on loan? can we get him back or was he sold?
Michael Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 We have a buy back option, although if he doesn't want to come back I assume that is totally useless.

KD07 Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Who do you need, who do you love, when you come undone?
intense enigma Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Who do you need, who do you love, when you come undone? He better be hungry like a wolf
alias75 Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 i forget what the deal wth barragan is, is he out on loan? can we get him back or was he sold? We have the option to buy him back for 600,000 i think after 2 or 3 years. Im not sure what say Barragan has in that if we want to activate that clause but he doesnt want to come here im not sure what will happen. As an example lets says hes a regular for Depor next season and plays 30+ games in La Liga even if we dont want him for the first team his value would be well in excess of 600,000 so we'd be stupid not to activate that clause even if its to sell him on for say 3,000,000. At the moment hes not starting at Depor though think hes played about 10 games there. Right back could be a position he could fill though in a few years.
Guest Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 ?2 million Euros is the buy back price that Barragán's agent and family have told the people at Sevilla CF
floyd Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Heard he started out as a goalie, and got shifted to midfield as he couldn't Save a Prayer
pawlu Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 That article is basically saying that he was spotted by Eduardo Macia (who joined Liverpool last summer), has already made his debut for Malaga, was wanted by Real Zaragoza who were willing to pay 200,000 Euros but Duran opted to join Liverpool because "it was a unique opportunity that I couldn't turn down".
Guest Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 (edited) There'll be someone over a New Moon on Monday with this signing, although it all looks just an Ordinary World to me. Edited January 30, 2007 by Figaro
Leo No.8 Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 No messing with our midfield with Duran in it. Put him in against the Mancs...
Bootle Buck Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 (edited) He has probably realized it's no "Ordinary World" at Anfield. Edited January 30, 2007 by Bootle Buck
neej Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 I've heard he's already quite Notorious in Spain for his collection of Girls On Film
usualsuspect Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Out of interest I wonder if all these 'young buys' were solely motivated by our dismal showing against Ar$e kids a coupla weeks ago?? All good though. Hope they turn out welland we can get about half of 'em successfully turning out for the 1st team in the next few yrs...
cymrococh Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Out of interest I wonder if all these 'young buys' were solely motivated by our dismal showing against Ar$e kids a coupla weeks ago?? Yes. Definitely.
Magic8Ball Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 is he any good ? PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME NOW
G Richards Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 (edited) I just hope the lad's not here for the money. I hope he really wants to make his mark. I hope he's HUNGRY LIKE A WOLF. Perhaps if he plays against Man Utd he will sort RIO out. Hopefully the move won't go to his head though, and he will keep his feet planted firmly on PLANET EARTH. If not, he will go the way of Josemi, and we'll have to SAVE A PRAYER for him then. Still, it could be worse. If he gets mixed up with Ashley Cole and Jermaine Pennant (allegedly) it could be a case of GIRLS ON FILM for the tabloids. Edited January 30, 2007 by G Richards
