Signed from Malaga, he didnt have a professional contract.

Deal similar to that of Barragan, he will move residences and willl leave for Liverpool on thursday.

Liverpool will pay around 100.000 euros for him.

 

Apparently plays centremidfield... (rafa`s new obsession after signing all the centrebacks he could)

i forget what the deal wth barragan is, is he out on loan? can we get him back or was he sold?

 

We have the option to buy him back for 600,000 i think after 2 or 3 years. Im not sure what say Barragan has in that if we want to activate that clause but he doesnt want to come here im not sure what will happen.

 

As an example lets says hes a regular for Depor next season and plays 30+ games in La Liga even if we dont want him for the first team his value would be well in excess of 600,000 so we'd be stupid not to activate that clause even if its to sell him on for say 3,000,000. At the moment hes not starting at Depor though think hes played about 10 games there.

 

Right back could be a position he could fill though in a few years.

That article is basically saying that he was spotted by Eduardo Macia (who joined Liverpool last summer), has already made his debut for Malaga, was wanted by Real Zaragoza who were willing to pay 200,000 Euros but Duran opted to join Liverpool because "it was a unique opportunity that I couldn't turn down".

Out of interest I wonder if all these 'young buys' were solely motivated by our dismal showing against Ar$e kids a coupla weeks ago??

All good though. Hope they turn out welland we can get about half of 'em successfully turning out for the 1st team in the next few yrs...

I just hope the lad's not here for the money. I hope he really wants to make his mark. I hope he's HUNGRY LIKE A WOLF. Perhaps if he plays against Man Utd he will sort RIO out. Hopefully the move won't go to his head though, and he will keep his feet planted firmly on PLANET EARTH. If not, he will go the way of Josemi, and we'll have to SAVE A PRAYER for him then. Still, it could be worse. If he gets mixed up with Ashley Cole and Jermaine Pennant (allegedly) it could be a case of GIRLS ON FILM for the tabloids.
