I am more disappointed at being out the cup than the score/performance. If we had lost 1-0 to a last minute goal I would probably feel worse.

 

I do think if Fowler is going to start he should play against lesser Premier teams (Watford, Charlton) rather than pacy youngsters like tonight though.

so much optimism at the start of the season, 20plus million spend on the squad that broke longstanding club records the season before. Realistically thinking we could win the league, this season for me has been more disappointing than Geds last season.

From all the pish in the last few days, the "I promised Jerzy..." part has disappointed me the most

What really chaps my @rse, is that some people on here are so high and mighty. We keep hearing that Rafa knows best , kneejerk this, kneejerk that. I think Rafa is a top top manager, but clearly when it comes to the british game he is not the messiah we all thought on may 25th 2005. We have ben average almost all season apart from a handful of games. I'm not calling for his head, far from it but unless he wakes up soon then I fear we will become a laughing stock
