McBain Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 I dont see any difference between now and last season. He's always been like this
madaboutlfc Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 hes useless away from home and lacks the mental strength to play against big teams..
Cooldude Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Playing him upfront in the English league is a no no, absolute no no In Europe, yes, not in the league Funny how the tables have turned, everyone wanted Luis in the side a week ago and now he needs to be sold
Guest Anders Honoré Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 hes useless away from home and lacks the mental strength to play against big teams.. except juve and chelsea...
Gilps Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 hes useless away from home and lacks the mental strength to play against big teams.. Done f*** all in big games against big teams, hasn't he? You stupid t***.
Cooldude Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 hes useless away from home and lacks the mental strength to play against big teams.. !!!!!!!!!!!! Are you f***ing kidding?!?! Have you been living in mars the past two seasons when he consistently scored in the big games?

I've never wanted him in the side. Ever
redjersey Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 !!!!!!!!!!!! Are you f***ing kidding?!?! Have you been living in mars the past two seasons when he consistently scored in the big games?Yeah, let's put all the blame on Garcia. There were plenty others out there today who did no better than Luis.
Cooldude Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 For the record. I've never wanted him in the side. Ever I kinda know what you think of him so I ain't surprised, the comment ain't really aim at you anyway
Swipe Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 For every one on here who's always saying stuff like "how can anyone not love little Luis" - today was your reason. He was a f***ing embarassment today. Was it his fault we lost? Of course not. Is he talented? Yes. But today was painful to watch. I've never seen such poor passing from a supposedly big team, and he was the main culprit. How he wasn't hauled off is beyond me.
madaboutlfc Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Done f*** all in big games against big teams, hasn't he? You stupid t***.yeah hes done f*** all. stop embarassing yourselves.. hes poor..
Bootle Buck Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 I'm beginning to think his "special goals" are not enough to cover up his many frustrating and effortless performances. Too many flicks and giving silly fouls away.
Jim D Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 I think Rafa has to take the blame in this more than anything. It was clearly shown last season that Garcia should not be starting games in the Premier League away from home. He is ideal for Europe, the odd home game and as an impact substitute. His tendency to give the ball away so cheaply is costing us so badly particularly away from home.
madaboutlfc Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 except juve and chelsea...how away was Anfield and Old Trafford in the fa cup semi..
bazz Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 I don't want to single him out, but how on earth is he starting and then not being brought off when he is having a mare. He is more of an inpact sub. Very depressing display by all, but it will remain a mystery how he stays on the pitch. How come he doesnt need to be rotated.
Bootle Buck Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 I've never seen such poor passing from a supposedly big team, and he was the main culprit. How he wasn't hauled off is beyond me. He was bad but the passing all over the team was woeful. Gerrard, Sissoko and Alonso all as bad.

His tendency to give the ball away so cheaply is costing us so badly particularly away from home. Agree with that, Rafa needs to take the blame for his decision making.
lfc003 Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 how he lasted 45 mins never mind the full 90 mins is beyond me, i really can't remember the last time i was so disappointed and disgusted by a performance from a liverpool player, he gave the ball more to the united players than carrick did. speedy was our most threatening player in the first half but gets taken off for pennent. Why the hell Rafa brings on a player with so little confidence and then plays him out of position was staggering. the team was gutless today.
jfogarty Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Awful today but thats Luis. Will probably score a cracker next Saturday and play brilliant
Guest Kev Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Awful today but thats Luis. Will probably score a cracker next Saturday and play brilliant He's too old for the U-12 team.
RedHarvest Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Garcia must be designated scapegoat for todays inept performance. He's always been frustrating and been indulged by Rafa...but you cant criticize him in order to deflect from the fact that NONE of our so called big players have played yet this season:Gerrard,Xabi,Carra,Riise..and all of the new buys bar Kuyt imo
Benzo-13 Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Luis gets a 0/10 today.. What was the point eh? He just gave up along with the rest of them bar Momo.
Chili Palmer Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 I don't know why Garcia is getting specifically mentioned, I could name 6-7 players who were as bad today, 2 of them being Carra and Gerrard but we aren't supposed to mention that.
