From the Sevilla TV programme '90 Minutos' - broadcast last night - I've just seen it.

Quick translation of part of what he said:

"I still haven't spoken to the president (Lopera) because I've been with the national squad call up and getting ready for the World Cup. After that, I'll speak to him and see what offers have come in and which are economically interesting."

"I'm more focused and prepared than last year's episode with Chelsea. What is more than obvious is that my price has dropped, but my skills are still the same."

"I'm totally prepared to play in a big team in any country. Here I have everything, a good contract, lots of money, but money doesn't mean that much to me...as a football player I want to try new things and to paly against the best and in that sense I now know that I have to leave. "

"I'm not ruling out any team."

Yawn

I can't be doing with these long drawn out mind game transfer sagas.

Just buy someone who wants to come to us.

Sounds like Chelsea have given up the ghost and he wants a move, is there any interest from us Pat ? (though from what I can remember I think this one has been ruled out)

One question:

What does '90 Minutos' mean?

90 dwarves, famous people are interviewed by 90 midget spaniards. It's a government initiative to keep them employed between pantomimes, or pantomimas.

Sounds a bit freakish. How long does the program last?

On a side note, Figaro and Elisha both posting on transfer related stuff on the same day.

Woo hoo, summer is here.

Time to break out the Ambre Solare and get a bigger beer fridge. World Cup, what World Cup? YNWA forums are where I'll be glued for May and June :D

Make the most of it cos I'm disappearing for my two months hols soon ;)

You've been there too long and gone native Pat. Disappearing when we need you most just like the Spaniards. Their tanks still have one forward and three reverse gears.

:D

I'm not anti Spanish really; I lived and worked in Madrid for a while. Never did learn to speak much of the language but I found if I just walked in in the morning and said 'Hola' in as deep a voice as possible it covered a multitude of sins :)

In Sevilla you just walk along the street and growl "Buenas" at the ladies

Figs didnt you say a while back that he is thick as sh*t and is basically a chav?

totally true

but look what has happened to Reyes and he was in a worse state - at least Joaquin could roll off a few sentences when he arrived at Betis - Reyes was in a terrible state when he joined Sevilla FC - he'd spent more time playing football naked in the street than inside a classroom

Is he contradicting himself ?

Like the look of him when he played in the champions league, think he could be awesome with the right manager and team.

I think he means which offers are economically interesting to the club IE offers for the player that Lopera would be prepared to accept and he could then choose between those clubs as where he wants to go.
