haha How the f*** is that even possible? How can a defensive midfielder, playing in a game like that, not make a single bloody tackle all game? That's bizarre. Maybe the Guardian have f***ed up their stats somehow.

Fair enough; another reason to ignore the article then. God knows the last time the pound was worth $1.87. The exchange rate is actually $1.55 at the moment, so $700M is more like the £450M I quoted. The exchange rate in April was also around $1.55 so that doesn't change anything.

Where do you get £360M from that article? It talks about H+G settling "for as little as" £450M. Can't say I value Forbes' opinion much if they valued us at £530M in April.

That looks quite useful. Fantastic for those Kaiseresque arguments. Have to admit I just assumed you'd made all those numbers up. It's what I would have been tempted to do.
