Indeed. I think we'd all be happy to show patience if there was some semblance of hope in the level of performances. There's nothing inheritently bad about getting a 0-0 at Utrecht, but the level of the performance and every other performance we've seen has just been soul-destroying. Equally, losing at home to the likes of Northampton and Blackpool can happen, but it doesn't look like they're one-offs. If we were to play Northampton again next week, I'd have serious doubts about beating them, even with our first team. It looks obvious that something is dysfunctional at the moment, and there hasn't been one smidgeon of hope that things will turn around. I fear that if we show the patience that most of us would like to show a new manager, it'll be too late, and we'll be fighting a relegation battle we're ill-equipped to win.
