I remember seeing Mansour sitting in the stands at West Ham watching Liverpool in the midst of this approach and two days later Moores promptly sold out to Hicks and Gillett. Not for the first time, the saying "there but for the grace of God, go I" comes into mind. We've certainly lost some opportunities to improve. Even during this past summer, Staveley AGAIN sounded out Liverpool in the form of FSG and got silence.

I don't think we will have Salah, Firmino, Coutinho or Mane playing together today somehow. Would like to see Robertson given a chance to shine though. We really should be taking more advantage of those superb crosses he is capable of. Think Sturridge will begiven a place.

Firmino would love those crosses that Robertson drove over midweek but some papers saying Moreno coming in. Gomez and Klavan CBs again.

If they continue the catalogue of missed chances as happened in midweek, it won't make any difference. However, it's quite likely Robertson won't be playing so that possibility won't arise. A better bet would be the odds of us not conceding.
