    When Chelski win today they will be six points behind with a game in hand. They win next week (and that's more than likely) and we drop points from the last game and that would be fourth place gone. I think the last time this situation occurred, we went four games without a win. Mo had the quietest game all season. Is someone expecting us to score in Rome next week?

    Shoddy. klopp's substitutions nous leave something to be desired as well. As soon as Salah went off, WBA knew they didn't have to keep so many players back. Not the first time we've been rickety against a bottom team.

    Daily Mail has a big splash today again on Sessegnon, I notice. A Fulham friend tells me, however, that if Fulham don't get promoted there's an "understanding" that he will move to Spurs. If that is so, we need to dive in as soon as Fulham get defeated in the playoffs.

    Very good piece on Milner in today's Mail,, page 81. Interesting that when we play at home, he books into a hotel in Liverpool the night before to get a good night's sleep. Didn't realise he was 32 already.

    I've just heard a referee on the radio say that the decision was correct. He says the goalie was not in front of him so therefore there was noone in front of him when he received the ball (he was level with the last Liverpool player so if karius had been there it would have been a goal). Don't ask me to explain the logic of that! 't

    Exactly. The big danger is our midfield getting swamped. As a bit of light relief, Newsweek reporting we are "swooping" for 30 year-old Fellaini at the end of the season! You couldn't make it up.....

    Why wouldn't Robertson start?? He's as much a shoo-in as VVD, Salah, Firminho etc.

    Think the team picks itself because of injuries etc. Karius, A-A, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson: Wijnaldum, Henderson, Milner: Salah, Firminho, Mane. Wish the result was as easy to forecast!

    Know we won but if we had had two Robertsons playing today instead of one, the result would have been more clearcut.

    Think Ings may have been a better option. And we didn't try to get Salah to use his speed. We are getting someone else apart from Keito, I'm sure of that.

    Seemed to me Mane was trying to play the Coutinho role which was impossible. Salah had the quietest game I've seen him play. Never got a chance to show his speed.

    As good a forecast as any, especially as they are currently two points ahead in the league at the moment. I can see them camping with 15 minutes to go as well
