The Express thing on VVD partly tallies with what I was told yesterday by a Southampton junior official. He told me that VVD will absolutely not be sold to Liverpool and he is virtually "nailed on" to finish up at Chelsea. This guy works for Soton but nowhere near the hierarchy.

Came in very late last night and put Sky Sports on, to see this guy saying that VVD has agreed to train with the Soton team and that Chelski have put a bid of 50 million plus add-ons for him! What's this all about? Haven't seen this anywhere else.

Of course, all this talk over transfers may be a waste of time if we get one year's transfer ban slapped on us. Thought of that? I'm reading that he was met in Blackpool and Klopp has been regularly in touch with him by phone. Can't believe Klopp would be that stupid.
