    He's very raw still but definitely got talent. The biggest issue is we play nothing like the way he needs a team to set up. We take an age to get the ball up the pitch and he needs to be running behind the line

    I'm not sure if I've stumbled into the middle of an existing argument but I think you might be attributing more to my comment than I did. It was definitely not intended as a 'dressing down'. Merely joining the discussion on the quality of the match thread content.

    Oh I agree it's usually full of illogical, ranting nonsense that often ignores the fact that the other team are there to stop us. But if we were completely logical, we'd not waste so much time and emotional energy in a group of young millionaires running round kicking a ball!

    100%. When we're playing crap I'm fuming that I've been waiting to enjoy the match and because it's not playing out, I want to vent. When we're completely on it I just want to enjoy watching the match

    Some of the things I've read about him make me wonder if he could be what Gini was for us? Very simple short passes, but low centre of gravity, hard to press, retains possession well

    He is more often than not a mile away from the goal and looking up to see nobody in the box. We are carrying so little goal threat at the moment

    And the biggest issue with that list is you could take a lucky dip of any date in the last couple of seasons and find it. It's not a surprise that they (particularly the midfielders) are missing.

    From reading Pep's (ours) book, I genuinely believe this is a blind spot of our team. The close, family group has held everyone together in the fight, but I think it's preventing Klopp etc. from saying 'Ox, Naby, despite your talent, you're not available enough so f*** off'

    Here we go. 1st choice midfield is good but ageing and across them and the backups, far too many injury prone players

    I think we'd be hard pushed to get a 3rd choice keeper you'd be really comfortable with. At least Kelleher has taken the 2nd spot

    The young lad Bajcetic looked decent at times. A nice press for the Elliott assist.

    I've not done the membership for a few years as I got tired of trying and failing to get tickets. Got tempted this year and have got Bournemouth and Leeds in the ballot. Will be interesting to see what the tickets are like mind you!
