I'd expect us to announce a joint stadium naming rights/shirt sponsorship deal with the shirt bit kicking in in 2007.

No I don't sorry. What's missed in all the hysteria is our current deal is second only to the Mancs and all these quoted figures are for deals that have yet to start as a new, more lucrative spnsorship cycle kicks in.

It's usual to have your sponsorship deals in place by the end of March at the latest as the shirt manufacturers have lead in times which require this (hence our dispute with Reebok). We were negotiating with a major new sponsor to replace Carlsberg from the summer of 2005 but they pulled the plug at the last minute which resulted in us signing a short term renewal with Carlsberg.

They're signing brand new deals starting this summer, we've got 1 more year of the cycle to go before we negotiate a new deal. Currently it's Liverpool 5m, Chelsea 4m, Arsenal 3m .... which isn't such a s**** deal.
