Whoever comes in is on a hiding to nothing until the ownership problem is sorted. As has been said certain sections of our support would turn on Kenny if he is appointed "caretaker" and it didn't work. As unforgiveable as that would be it will happen. For that reason alone I wouldn't appoint Kenny. I would suggest an alternative in Thommo who did a good job during Houllier's absence, and has the history with the club that people seem to be looking for Of course if the owners leave then the picture changes dramatically, maybe a clean slate is what the new owners have asked for....
