    I love Basques. Had a night in a club in Barca with a load of them. Men and women, all pretty much tiny and built like pack ponies or something. Enthusiastic drinkers.

    WTF? I love how he cheats, stays down and wastes time. He’s the only one of ours who isn’t too nice and honest the whole time.

    Funny to be part of it. As someone who was basically standing there cold with a face on waiting for them to score and suddenly it takes on a completely different life. Wish I could relive it to clock the exact moment. Often these things are more of a ‘f*ck it, let’s just enjoy ourselves’ feeling than real confidence to start with. Barca 19 was the same.

    I’d be more excited at the idea of going to the match, yeah. I think Enrique would set my pants on fire a bit more but I just cba watching much more of this at the moment. Not particularly a Xabi thing, long time since he was here, I don’t pine for him or anything, more than I do for Mascherano, Pepe Reina or whoever.

    I remember Rodgers being annoyingly deferential to Chelsea on a couple of occasions, felt like he saw them as a bigger club than us. Can’t find the quotes now though.
