  1. Yeah he'll be a big star for England and their media now, if he gets stick for his defending it will tend to be in Spanish.

  4. Yep. This particular one doesn't have many silver linings for us, the 'selling' club. A) His terrible terrace chant has passed away B) He was a bit annoying and at times a headache system wise C) He did help us win the league and CL
  5. It is a bit comparable. What was the armband that said he was a red all about? He was doing weird little signs that he wanted to come to us for a year before he did. Google switch style nonsense in old 2007.
  6. Aye. I think he's a bit of a daft lad though. What's the praying thing about? He thinks he's in FIFA.
  7. I think there's something in it, in a purely footballing sense. You've seen it from players like Alonso and Thiago who wanted to go and try out other top leagues, play under great managers and so on.

  10. I don’t think anyone would. Maybe that’s the real test of which of the contracts is most important. How many weird people on here would stick up for the club or slag the player if they did leave
  11. I can’t be ar$ed with all fronts anyway. League please. FA Cup for the double if you like. Cheers Arne.

  13. Yeah defo. The bit where he played during Trent’s injury last season was the most exciting point of the whole campaign. Really hope he starts to get a bit fitter.
  14. That’s daft. You just wanted to use that gif. Which I can well understand.
  15. Can’t argue with it in terms of how close his legs were to going. Got nowhere near replacing his minutes on the field with his replacement(s) though. Which is the big worry with VVD and Salah, FSG haven’t always been good at appreciating the value of minutes on the field in their calcs.
  16. In all seriousness, Bradley is never fit, so some of these plans for playing him all the time are not based in the real world
  17. Never even made it as number 1 right back for England, which in many ways is the most important thing for me.
  18. Haha. It’s not hard is it.
  19. Fine, just get ones that don’t speak much English, like Suarez and nobody will really notice.
  20. He wasn’t really that good a kid. No shortage of videos of him in training acting the big I am. I reckon he’s a pain in the a***, but so talented that he gets a pass. Captain material, not for me mate. I always prefer a steady eddie hendo to a mercurial genius Gerrard though.
  21. Oh yeah, silver lining #2 is the loss of one of the worst player chants in living memory.
  22. The only silver lining is that he won’t be our captain now. Never sat well with me that he was made vice. Wrong attitude in many ways, as proved by this move. Rat. Bye.
  23. That would be batting both eyelids surely
  24. Haha yeah. Especially when that’s as far as I could be bothered to read.
