Crouch definitely got more time from the crowd than Keane has, and deservedly so. He was offering a lot to the side without scoring, always willing for the ball, played positively and was in the right places. He was given stick before he played, but everyone could see what he was offering as soon as he stepped out. Keane is the opposite almost. Certainly he had more pressure on him as he was almost universally lauded as a good signing, but he's shown nothing so far. In terms of touch, attitude, positive play, having the odd shot, he's been massively lacking. Any of these things is generally enough to get the crowd on-side, and it's telling that he hasn't managed it.
