    i went past melwood today, couldn't resist getting out the car and peaking through the wall. saw someone balloon a shot way over the wall into someone's garden, and saw carra and the long thin pork shower bully having a defensive fast legs competition. exciting. to relate this to the thread, i didn't see lauri daller valler, but he has got an terrific name.

    i don't know, i've never been up there. to accuse one set of fans of being total animals while all the other teams in the vicinity get the 'vibrant, wonderful atmosphere' thing doesn't quite ring true to me.

    well, from speaking to a couple of journalists apparently it's us and rangers who fly off the handle and fill your inbox with bile at the drop of a hat. both clubs do get unfair treatment, and i think sometimes certain papers (esp the online guardian) say things just to get the desired response from us.

    dixon seems to be the only pundit on the bbc who talks about the footy, rather than the ref and 'should they have had a penalty'. hansen is limiting himself to one good observation a season, lawro mainly sticks to his borat impressions/s**** innuendoes. shearer would be alright if he gave opinions instead of commentating on montages.

    where have you dreamed £5m from anyway? I'm still disappointed we didn't get him, haven't given up on the idea, think he could be the difference. i don't want another RB for £6,7,8m who isn't good enough and/or turns out to be made of petals and clouds. you get what you pay for, and decent players, esp fullbacks cost a bomb.
