European sides haven't seen the real Mancs this season, in Europe they still carry the fauxra of being a European giant Hopefully this buy moyes some credit and the players turn in around in the league to finish 6th. That way bayerns 5-0 at home win will be an aberration.

I don't get this whole we can't win 14 games thing. The games we have won are gone. Why should they have a bearing on our ability to win the next game? We may not win the next 6 games, but it won't be because we won the last 8 on the bounce. It will be because we weren't at our best for that game. Ergo, if we are at our best for the next 6 games, we will win them.

The other side is, if we beat city and Chelsea, how many points can we afford to drop in the other 4 games?

It's 6 games ahead to win. Forget the 8 gone. Irrelevant. Just focus on winning the next one. Yesterday is history. Other teams don't matter. Any other results that help are great, but why can't we win our remaining games? I'm sure there are loads of reasons but having won the previous 8,9,10 13 games is not one of them.

Go to bed early, get up at 2.55am, then depending on result can either go back to bed for 2 hours or just start the day. Don't need to drink to get the hangover effect though!

To be fair, he's got a keeper, and two strikers with now mata that would get into thesquad of the clubs above them. He has his faults, a lot of them - but it is amazing what the old manager got out of them for the last few years. -

Think players initially struggled under pressure and expectation as well as complacency. To come away with the win will keep them on track and focussed. The welcome was great, but for many of the players that's the kind of welcome they get for winning the title. The atmosphere was great though! If we can keep behind the lads for the remaining home games it'll be tough for the visitors.

I would've been happy with 4th, but now think 4th would be disappointing. I'm actually more nervous about Ayre in the transfer window and negotiating Brendan's contract. He is the weakest link in he club at the moment.

He's done right by Everton. Left them with a solid defence which is roberto's weak spot, gave them 27mil for a player that didn't fit a passing style and opened a cl spot for Everton to challenge for. -
I feel physically sick saying this. Come on red Mancs! A quick goal and late equaliser would be perfect.

It's what you leave behind that defines you. There is no spirit, or core at arsenal, or indeed at the Mancs. The mere fact that wenger leaving would destroy the club means he's not done a great job. Managers like rafa, pep, mourinho at Chelsea first time around are examples of managers who have left a decent core that carried on succeeding after they left.

Everton not too far from arsenal. It would be funny to see them pipped to 4th, then see Everton not qualify again. Moyes better ride this win now and take out city this week. They need to finish 6th.
