I'm same. Chances of them drawing were slim anyway, but now that we dropped points, I can see complacency. Also, west ham and villa will see what being spoilers meant to Palace and will want something. It's a long shot no doubt, but can't remember last time we went to final game of the season with a shout of the title.

Mate absolutely gutted, but the optimism looking forward and the realisation of what we have achieved is outweighing the disappointment. Chelsea and city fans and the public in general expect those two to win the title. No one expected us to finish 2nd, let alone be in with a chance of title, however slim, on last day of season. Just hate seeing our fans say chance gone, blaming manager, players etc because it doesn't show appreciation for the achievements this season. We go again next season.

I thought it demonstrated a winning mentality. Win by 4, even 5, gives us a chance. Sure, some will say take the 1-0, or even 2-0, but just as many hoping we got 4 or 5. No issues with going for goals, but defensive shape needs work. Who's going to bet against us figuring it out?

Jeez I hope the manager or players don't think like that! This is the beginning of an era, just the end of this season. We have a young squad of players who expect to challenge for the title. We will start next season knowing 84 points and 100 goals in not enough for a title.

Not having that. Our defending this season has been like this. Season is 38 games, not 2.

For the first time, I turned off the TV at full time. I couldn't watch the players on the pitch. Those poor barsterds have given everything this this. Everything. They've not left the field giving less than 100%. Felt so bad for the players, they must be devastated. I'm sure they'll come back hungrier next season and I hope we give them the send off and appreciation they deserve for this season. Lots to learn and we will.

Why would anyone consider selling Lucas? Good pro, squad player etc. we talk about wanted good squad depth, there it is! Bring in someone better, but why sell him?

I'd like him to stay at Chelsea. He'll spend money on function, get rid of quality young players and not give their youth a chance and leave in 3-4 years anyway.
