The thing is, I really feel this is the beginning. If after what we had this season is not enough, then we know we need to do better next season. The players know it. The young uns and manager all have learned a great deal too. Besides that, it's still not over yet. Yes, we may have had it in our hands, but so did city and Chelsea at one stage. If we don't win it this season it won't be because of the Chelsea game. It will be because of the Chelsea and city away games. The hull game. WBA. The goals conceded against Norwich, Swansea and even the arsenal penalty. Whatever happens, the season is 38 games. We know we can put a run of wins together - key we start again from next game. I hope the players are not of the same mentality of many of our fans though!

Give them a break, it's the first assessment. You can't just jump straight to a ban, warning first, reassess next summer. If it was us and we weren't able to compete we would be straight in for an appeal. New law, first offence. This is about long term, not just tomorrow.

We win at palace, it goes to last game. Who called that last summer?? And for anything could happen, look at city's last title win, Blackburn win and others. Also, we go into last game needing an 8-0 win for example, be a hell of an atmosphere! My view, just go with it, enjoy the ride. Next season, we will expect a challenge - this is a great time to just enjoy the experience and go with it. Finishing second to a team that cost a billion pounds on goal difference doesn't carry any shame.

Why do you say that? We will still steam roller 13 teams and have shown we can compete and challenge the other 6. We will also strengthen with quality too.
