I found it quite amusing that Argentina shut up shop for most of the game and defended deep hoping to get a result. And only after Spain scored did they try and get upfield. Almost as if they’d learned nothing from playing England. I admire their ability to do the anti-football but am frustrated that individually and collectively they have to be better at actual football than they showed. The underdog/victim/“dark arts” crap clearly works for them but…

“Hurt” I hate that word in relation to football, particularly England. How about 60 years of not good enough. Or 60 years of doing better than most?
