The auditor resigning is never a good look. But I guess they don’t have much choice. They either were lied to, or they stuffed up royally - in reality likely both: £800m is not something you easily lose down the side of the sofa and the auditor should be able to spot what we all spotted years ago in terms of their spend (and income source)

I asked this last week. They did and CAS threw them out. But I am hoping that UEFA now get back involved again.

City knew the rules. Whether their fans think they should be allowed to spend bajillions is moot. The rules are those of the competition they agreed to enter. And then cheated.

Are UEFA interested in this or have they ignored the PL action ? (I don’t even know if they broke UEFA rules but I’d like to think if they’ve been proven to have made off the books payments, they’d not have been reported to UEFA either). That may be wishful thinking on my part
