In the next draw (on Friday 27 Feb, after the KO round is finished) they'll put us in either the "Silver" side of the draw where we'll get the winner of Gala v Juve - or the "Blue" side where we'd get the winner of Bruges v Atleti. Spurs will be in the other half, meaning we can't possibly face them until the final. Once this draw is done we'll be able to see potential opponents right the way to the final. Innit. It's ridiculously, needlessly complex. Every KO round should be highest remaining seeded team playing the lowest, with the higher seed being home second leg. No need for any draws at all

Was wrong - they changed it after last season So (if we get there, natch) we'd play second leg at home in the QF. We'd only play 2nd leg home in the semi if at least one of Arsenal and Bayern aren't in it.

Pretty sure that we get 2nd leg home in R16 but it's a free draw for the later rounds.

So in the KO round in our bit Juve will get either Bruges or Galatasaray - with Atletico getting the other. The winners of those two games will get either us or Spurs in R16. Our QF opponent if we got through would be from Monaco, Qarabag, PSG & Newcastle (KO round teams), Chelsea or Barca. Draw for the KO round is on Friday, then the draw that sets the path all the way way to the final is on Friday 27th after the KO results are known

Nope - they'll be in the other half of the draw. We're guaranteed not to face them until the final - be just like Madrid again
