Can't disagree but the aerial power of the Greek was very influential as well. I also think that Johnson is defensively causing problems for his own teammates.

Meijer is from my area. I met his sister once when I went for a job in a sportshop. She was managing there. If I joined then I could get lots of suff from his at the club! Never joined as I didn't want to work on saturday and miss out on the games! It has been reported that Mihaylov has signed a 2 year deal at Twente. Shame, I rate him higher then the Brazilian.

To start with. It was predictable. They deserved a goal more then us. We never created any decent chances bar maybe 1 (which I can't think of). I saw the match later in the evening. I FF'ed the last 15 minutes. I couln't bare watching it anymore.

Exactly how I see it as well. 4-2-3-1 is holy in the eyes of Rafa. Everybody knows it and adapts to it. We are so predictable that even in our armchair we know what will happen and how it will happen. In his first seasons when we were playing at home, it was not the question if we would win, but only how much. I always considered our home play as not being defensively, but away from home we're a counter attacking team. No question about it. And against the likes of Wolves, Sunderland, Hull etc. Liverpool FC should not rely on counter attacking.

This was a depressing night of footbal yet again. And it only confirms again that Rafa has lost it. He kept playing the same formation (1 upfront) against f***ing Wolves!!! And when he finally subsitutes, he changes a wide player with as result Kuyt (who is not a winger) stayed on and Maxi (who is not a left winger) moved to the left. I'm seriously not having this. Wolves were always the most likely to score. Their keeper had f*** all to do! Gerrrad was probably not 100% fit, but he was having not service from Kuyt as well. Kuyt is not a player who can play every match alone upfront. He was outmuscled today. He lost all headers which is no surprise because they had more height at the back. Their defence was not troubled at all. We had more players on our side of the pitch, which is depressing. I taped the match as I had to watch it later. But I stopped watching after 75 minutes because I already knew the outcome. We were never going to score. And the worst part is, that it's not the first time this season and it won't be the last. We are mediocre.

The kop should hold a mosaic for him. He deserves it. It would make him proud and get him back to his best faster!

Dutch press reporting that Van Nistelrooy will have a medical at HSV on Monday. And Huntelaar is going to sign for the blues****! Milan is willing to cooperate with a loan deal for this season.

He said he hadn't seen it afterwards and wasn't really being fussy about it. He actually said that it wouldn't change anything if he appeared to be onside. He was right though, when he said he had to look it up in the rules. It used to be offside but now there are to many rules. I thought he was very complementary about the team and the fans.

At times he's dissapearing, but he always tries to make something happen. Will improve this season. But many were right when they said we will see the best of him from the start of next season (when not being injured).

How soft was that decision from Webb to retake the pen?? Great effort from the lads. Shows them what you can achieve if you give 110% from the start until under the shower!! The greek was a collossos! Hyypia will be proud of him!

It just looks like they want to win, but with minimum effort as possible. And only in the last ten minutes they start to something which looks like a bit effort. But it is all to late then.

Who says Rafa will accept the way the new coaches like to play? I think it's Rafa's system we're playing.
