  1. Our own fans effectively got him booked, today. Our own fans. To all those who exclaimed "ooh" at his challenge, congratulations. And next time, just think it. Don't say it. Makes it the easiest job in the world fir a Ref if he's thinking "Even their own fans think that was a bad challenge, so it must be a booking".
  2. Then we can breed our own - it'll save FSG gazillions in the long run!
  3. They're in a League of their own.
  4. Exactly. He always reminds me of ScrappyDoo.
  5. True, but he's only 16 isn't he? I don't think Milner will be physically able to cover that role until Sessegnon is ready for the first team at Anfield, and I can't really see Klopp buying two left backs?
  6. I am definitely in the "It's about time we won ugly" camp. And we did. But, so what? That's what other teams do. Thought Ming was good today, coming out for those two crosses in particular. But missing Firmino, Henderson and Lovren and with Coutinho also being massively off the pace, I'll happily take the three points and move on.
  7. His Dad used to go on the Irregulars bus - technically, I suppose then it was the LASC coach run by Jimmy Flowers - to the aways. On the Spot he always picked the number 9 and, within the family, Dad was called Robbie and the Liverpool superstar forward was referred to as Robert. A bit of useless historical trivia for you there.
  8. Pure diversion and deflection re Klopp, yet the media continue to let Mourinho dictate the agenda.
  9. How many times did Courtois kick the ball out of play yesterday? Not in a hurried, sweeper-keeper kind of way, but in a routine passing the ball around and then to a team mate on the sidelines further up the pitch. i.e. the kind of thing that our fans would crucify Mignolet for.
  10. An absolute honour to have seen him play.
  11. Not saying that, and not after an argument, mate, but Tyler is just beyond the pale in his commentary, IMHO.
  12. Just go back and listen to the difference in how he commented upon Benteke's stunning overhead kick at Old Trafford and then Martial's goal, and tell me the man is not biased to his core. And who commented upon Henderson's goal at Stamford Bridge this season? Another completely underwhelming commentary for a superlative goal.
  13. In a lighting candles in a shrine kind of way. Another extremely poor show from Tyler.
  14. A loan??? Why on a loan??? Makes no sense.
  15. Joe Hart (Mirror), and Julian Draxler (Times) from the BBC gossip page today. Draxler seems to have been linked to Arsenal for ages?
  16. See also Coutinho, and accusations that he was trying too much, trying to beat too many people, when the actual reality was that he was waiting for somebody - anybody - to make a half-decent run.
  17. I know a lad who - 30 years ago, mind - had two cats. One was called "58". The other one's name you can work out yourself.
  18. Was quite content as the first half came to an end, as we didn't have to win but Chelsea did, so they would have to come out more in the second half, and leave gaps. And then that happened....
  19. Plus, you'd think that adidas must be absolutely desperate to add a major club to their books given recent losses.
  20. Anybody listen to Radio 5 on Monday night, with Charlie Adam, Gary Gillespie and Rory Smith? Asked who was the most important player out of Coutinho, Firmino, Lallana and Mane, they all agreed on Mané because his pace adds that extra level of problems to an opposition defence.

  22. "A dynasty. That's the goal." A bastion of invincibility, no less.
  23. A lot more.
