mate, i am with you.. i have been with you on this from the off.. the only thing i'd argue against is the bit i've put in bold - there will be players who they will not want to sell (Suarez for example) - do something like that and they'll have a revolt on their hands.. the rest, for me, is spot on.. i also think they've made their decision to sell - it's just maximising their profit to deal with.. essentially it's G&H all over again though without the bleeding the club dry while they're at it.. to be honest, i've got no problem with their tactic either - i don't see why someone like this with no previous experience, knowledge or interest in football suddenly wanted to be a part of it - other than the money to be made.. and that's fine.. make yer money.. but don't bleed the club dry while you're doing it (i don't think FSG will) and invest to make us competitive again while you're here (again, not sure they will)..

Might take my little girl to this.. only problem is she's begging me to go a match because she wants to sing the songs (Anfield Road, Scouser Tommy etc) but i reckon she'll be disappointed with the lack of atmosphere.. she's got no interest in the footy like - just the songs!

oh aye.. bit of mischief making on my part with that comment to be honest.. just don't think we should get sucked in by FSG just yet though.. and if that Mike Jefferies is correct they're already thinking about getting out..

totally agree.. and i think that a case could be made for everything looking rosier (certainly on the pitch) within G&H's first 18/20 months in charge than with FSG.. well, with what we could see happening anyway..

other than stating i think Meireles is s*** and was glad we got shut of him i've got nothing much to add..

i like Rodgers.. i like Martinez.. i didn't think we should bring them in as we're a massive job for even a top level manager to try and turn around never mind a relative novice.. any player/manager who gives it large with Shanklyesque speeches such as Rodgers did is only going to get the fans behind him from the off - and quite right too.. saying that, i too view his appointment with slight suspicion of the owners.. according to ALL reports FSG had a masterplan.. a way to revoutionise the way the club works and they just f***ed it all off to keep one man happy.. now, had that man been a Mourinho/Guardiola/Klopp you could have understood it - they've been there and won it so know what it takes.. but to toss it all to one side for someone 'new' to the scene and who has no experience of that top level is a little disconcerting.. these concerns, by the way, do not reflect on B-Rod.. i like him.. a lot..

after what we've been through with the other pair of clowns any fan that ISN'T erring on the side of caution with these owners is f***ing stupid.. i am firmly in the camp that these fella's need to make a statement of intent.. i thought they should have done it when they walked in the door but they dithered over Hodgson and then went with the easy option of giving Kenny the full-time job at the season's end.. whilst i am trembling with excitement at the thought of Rodgers team passing the living daylights out of everyone before cutting a thrust towards goal and notching up yet another 'goal of the season' contender as we romp away with the title i am also very concerned they didn't go all out for one of Klopp, Guardiola, Mourinho.. winners.. been there.. seen that.. designed the f***ing t-shirt you're wearing.. not convinced by FSG.. not one bit..
